For Mount Sinai Hospital, we created an internal video directed at their Pediatric Department’s Resident Doctors.

The Hospital wanted their Pediatricians to provide more comprehensive care.

The Challenge: Internal videos need to build excitement within the team to implement the goals in the video. An informative but dry video will deliver the information, but viewers will lose interest and thus enthusiasm. Likewise, an engaging video still needs to deliver the information.

We needed to both inspire the viewer to want to provide more inclusive care to children, and to actually use the video resources to learn how to do so.

Phrases along the lines of “implementing a more comprehensive care standard” sounds quite heavy. A Resident is a person who just graduated Medical School but is still training for their specialty. So making them comfortable in using and promoting more tools and services isn’t easy when they are already learning so many new things.

The Solution: We worked with Mount Sinai to create a video showing that more comprehensive care is better care. And what quality training resources the hospital has available to its Pediatric Residents. It showed how simple and clear using the resources is. The video uses ever changing graphics, depicting both abstract concepts and concrete resources, progressively leading the viewer through the educational process.
